The Mugello Tuscany Open, event in the Challenge Tour European calendar, comes to the UNA Poggio dei Medici golf club for the third year from July 18th to the 21st .
The PRO Amateur was disputed on July 17th, the day before the beginning of the competition.
The tournament is promoted by UNA Hotels & Resorts, the Tuscan Regional Authority and the Italian Golf Federation, with the valuable support of the sponsor ICCREA BancaIntesa, as well as the Mugello and Scarperia town authority.
The course, one of the most prestigious courses in Italy and which already hosts the Ladies Italian Open, was designed by Baldovino Dassù and the architect Alvise Rossi.
The 18 holes, par 72, are set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, with unparalleled views of castles and ancient churches in the surrounding countryside.
The winners in the two previous editions were Floris De Vries in 2010, and Anthony Snobeck in 2011.
The Italian Marco Crespi won the 2013 edition of Mugello Tuscany Open.
